Hot chocolate. Or mochas. Yes, yes please. I love the process of heating up a little milk in a pan, then gently whisking sweetness and rich chocolate and then deciding what to do next. This time, I added even more chocolate, then added orange zest. Good, good plan. To sweeten, I used coconut sugar (just dried coconut sweetness.) It adds a delicious depth and complexity to it. (And more nutrients and low on GI index!)
There used to be a drink at Starbucks called Mocha Valencia. Divine. But, too sweet and their mocha powder always tastes a little chalky. So basically, I think mine rocks and theirs doesn’t. Take that multi-billion dollar company!
