C and I have been waging war on our food spending over the past year. This week we are living it up comfort food style. The meal plan includes three large meals that last two days, a quick frozen meal with a salad and an inexpensive dining out experience. A few staples are thrown in for lunch and breakfast.
Frozen: Target House Brand Margarita Pizza
Salad: Spinach with goat cheese, pine nuts and apples
Lunches: Ham and Rotisserie Chicken Sandwiches, Tomato and Butternut Squash soups.
Breakfast: Toast, Eggs, Pancakes.
Total Weekly Groceries: $112 including two decent quality boxes of wine used for cooking that were $15 each for the equivalent of 4 bottles each.
Dining Out: PTerrys Cheeseburgers with Fries $5.45 before tax.
Total food cost for the week: $117.45
